1. Browse to http://airboxnow.com.my/sync-clients/ and click on "Download" button for the right client for your desktop. (in this example we use Windows)
2. When you finish downloading, run the installer and you will be prompt with the AirBoxNow! Installer setup. Click the "Next" button.
3. Select the type of install. We just select the "Standard" install type. Click the "Next" button.
4. You can choose where to install AirBoxNow. In here we will just use the default directory. Click the "Install" button
5. You will see the install progress. Please wait until it finish.
6. You will see this when the installation is complete. Click the "Next" button.
7. You have finished the installation of the desktop client. Leave the "Run AirBoxNow!" selection ticked to run right away. Click "Finish" button.
8. When AirBoxNow! run, you will be prompt with AirBoxNow! Connection Wizard. Click the "Next" button.
9. Here you need to input the server address. Depending on AirBoxNow! server configuration you will need to checked the "Use secure connection" or not. All AirBoxNow! hosted on airboxnow.my need to use "Use secure connection". Then input the Username & Password. Click the "Next" button.
10. The result page will update you regarding the connection is successful or not. When you see "Successfully connected to AirBoxNow!" message, your connection is good. Click the "Finish" button.
11. You will noticed on your taskbar, AirBoxNow! will show you this message. Double click on the AirBoxNow! icon.
12. It will open the "Sync Directory Status" window. Click the "Add Sync" button.
13. You will be asked which folder you would like to sync below. You also need to specify an alias which is basically friendly name for the directory. You may type the same name as the actual folder name. Click the "Next" button.
14. Input the name of "Folder on AirBoxNow!". This will create the folder on AirBoxNow! server if it doesn’t exist. Click the "create" button.
15. When the folder is created, click the "Finish" button.
16. Now you will see the sync is created between your desktop & AirBoxNow! server. You will see the green checked icon when synchronisation is completed. Double click the "AirBoxNow!" sync status.
17. This will open up you local folder. We will test the synchronization is working.
18. We create a text file. And open the file to edit it.
19. Just type in some text and save it.
20. Now login to your AirBoxNow! server. In this example we use the airboxnow.my demo server. We login with the username & password.
21. After you login, you will notice the folder "desktop" is there as we have created from the desktop client. Click the desktop to view the files in it.
22. You will see the same text file is in there. Click the file name to view its content (this will only works to a certain files, for example text files).
23. The content of the text file is the same as the one that we save from the desktop. You’re done. The synchronization is working as expected.
